Fluke after a storm..
Was having this talk with a buddy at work today.. It has always been my experience that the fluke fishing takes a couple of days to recover after a storm like we had last night and today. He says it has no effect on the fluking.. What do you guys think?

Re: Fluke after a storm..
I've always noticed that after a "heavy" storm that the fluke bite slows quite a bit probably due to cloudy (dirty) water, it seems that when the water clears (after a few tide changes) the bite picks up again. That has been my experience.:D

also, the salinity of the water changes as all the rain water dilutes the seawater especially in the bays, i think open ocean, not so much.

I’ll be out tomorrow so hopefully I’ll be telling you how great it is to fish after the storm.

2 or 3 tide changes and you should be good to go depending on how bad the storm is
