Barnegat bay Fluke report Friday pm
 

Took advantage of the long days this time of year. Started fishing at 5:30, got a short as soon as I dropped in. We had a stiff south wind and had to use a drift sock to keep the drift at around 1 knot. We quit at 8, I had 6 fluke with 2 at 18.5 inches my buddy only caught one small bluefish. Got them on jigs with gulp and spearing and a couple on a killie on the high hook. Alot of weed and snot today but it was good to get out.

I forgot to mention, I saw a few boats heading out to the deep there is good water on the edge this weekend. I'm starting to get the itch to get offshore again.
