Mother's Day fishing near Speculator, NY
 

Hey guys. So my sister and husband have a cabin up in NY in Speculator. They are going up this weekend for a little Mother's Day weekend getaway and invited my wife, daughter and I. Thanks to my brother in law, we have the go ahead to spend a good amount of time exploring the area. Doing some research I see Lake Pleasant is close and stocked. Any other advice for trouting up in that area? Appreciate any advice and will bring home hopefully a nice report for you guys.

Little sacandaga, sacandaga and Indian lake are all within a half hour ride. Little sacandaga is right in town and connects to lake pleasant. I would fish that before lake pleasant.
