SJ White Perch fishing

Going to give this a go this year. Just bought some crappie jigs 1/8 oz. and I have some leftover size 2 hooks I used for porgy last season to make some hi-lo rigs.

Wondering if there's any other lures or rigs that people have had success with? Going to be fishing Tuckahoe and Great Egg Harbor River area either out of a duck boat or my Hobie Outback. Thanks

Thanks...judging by some of the reports today, maybe I'll bring a couple plugs and swim shads as well, stripers going off today...although the storm will probably scatter em' for a couple weeks

Been to the Tuckahoe River twice this year with good results using bloodworms. Bank fishing for me and jigs are out of the question. All the reeds along the banks are falling apart as the new growth begins pushing out. Water is saturated with dead pieces of grass that looks like someone dumped their grass catcher in. This stuff will cover a jig in no time.
I use a three hook rig I make myself and tip the hooks with bloodworm. I get it on the bottom and let it sit till the perch find the hooks. I have photos but need to figure out how to post them.
