Insane topwater bite
 

Today we had a 4 man crew out. We left the dock at 11am to catch the whole outgoing tide.
I went back where we had them yesterday and had a quick
Limit of bass on shads and jigs to 34"
I saw some bird life further off shore so decided to investigate and get away from all the traffic.
When we got to the birds the bass were rolling for as far as I could see.
We landed a few more fish on jigs and changed over to pencil poppers.
Wow was that exciting. Having two three and four fish on at a time.
Watching two or three bass crash your plug was amazing.
We wound up losing count of how many bass we released. We had multiple 40 plus inch fish and had nothing under 28".
I wish everyday was like this. We had the ocean to ourselves with no one harassing the fish chasing the birds.

My only question about the trip......... did anyone get mugged when the bite started?
