New Rig

Well after a long search I've found a new home. Brought her up Yesterday. I bought a 2004 Grady White Gulfstream 232. She has twin 150 four-stroke Yamis with 545 hours and is 23 ft with a 9'3'' beam and rides like a tank weighing in at over 4000 lbs. Our Fearless leader said to me over one year ago "Don't a boat ,buy THE BOAT". After a long pain staking search and being talked out of a couple boats, I've got "THE BOAT" for me and my Family. Thanks to RobB who actually found it on Facebook and Gerry for answering my questions. A lot of others who I've spoken to as well, Thank You. Can't wait to get her out and put some blood on the deck.

Good for you Tony.... Biggest mistake you could have made was being impatient and buying the wrong boat.

Re: New Rig

My old 25 Grady Trophy Pro was one of the best designed boats I've ever been on. Heavy and does well for sea keeping. Not so well at the pump. I had two tanks- 150 & 72 Gallon. Used every bit of it.

Storage spot up the waazoo. And Yamis are great and 4 strokes are very durable.

Just make sure the insurance Co covers the value. Not the look up $.

Good point on the insurance Frank.... If the boat is worth more then the blue book value, make sure your policy is an agreed to value.
