8/2/17: Car(s) removed from the Raritan river:

Central Jersey Stream Team working with Somerset County Parks Department pulling car(s) from the Robert Street section of the Raritan river in Raritan Borough. Hope to have more photos as they become available.
Chains and a backhoe were used.

and a cast iron bath tub. 2 crayfish fell outta the one car, looked like damn lobsters !!

Dude where's my car? Haha! That things finally out of there thankfully! Now the 7 lb Smallie will go back into the the tree and rock structure a hair upstream!:D

Ok I'm blind and useless...I never even saw those things in there! No wonder I can't see fish like everyone else always talks about! Thank God for at least letting me randomly land a lure near a fish that has the gift of sight so I can catch one every once in a while.

That is just crazy stuff man. Wonder what year those vehicles are and how long they've been in there?

ditto. must have been in the deep cut in front of where the guy with the white car sets up his FOUR surfcasters for bottom fishing, right?

I see people fishing the rivers without polarized glasses all the time! If you don't have a pair but a pair! You don't know what the hell your missing. I sight fish most of the Smallies I catch in the Raritan, especially in October! They cruise around up and down up and down. Put your glasses on, LOL!

OK here's the sad part...Not only are they polarized...they are F'n prescription!!! It's gotta be the drink finally getting to the brain! Although that can't be it because even Wilson can still see 'em. AAAAAHahahaha!:D
