I pulled a 35 n 30inch flathead outta RR a few days apart.. somehow got em both on 6lb test with out getting wrapped up on anything!! I'm really feeling guilty after the fightt killing these behemoths!! But what the hell should I do with em?? Cant let em eat everything in the hole.. but it's still a fish... an I like to catch big fish.. haha.. luv sum feed back on how to handle this!!! Pic of the 30 other pic too much of spot burn sry..

According to NJDEP and NJF&G you throw them into the woods for raccoon chow, I have to agree with them, they eat tons of shad.

Eat them! They are the best eating catfish comparing to channel cats and blue cats. If you don't wanna eat them out of raritan give them away to someone that does wanna eat them.

Very cool. I guess I would be feeling guilty, too. I didn't even know the Raritan had big Flatheads. Maybe a Fish & Wildlife biologist would be interested in performing a necropsy on these since they come from an area that these fish don't normally inhabit. Mayne shoot Mark B. a message and see if he knows anyone who wants them. . |

Way to get on em Dave! Those are some quality INVASIVE MONSTERS. I love those Flatheads. Congrats on an AWESOME CATCH!:D

Nice river monsters....the river and canal both have good populations of Flats sorry to say but there here to stay.

Nice fish! I hear chunked trout work well for big cats. I might have to give it a try soon!
