Sunday with the Girlz......
 

After a decent day on Saturday I decided to take Kelly and my niece Jennie for a little afternoon delight on Sunday.
It never fails, you catch them there yesterday and they are no where to be found the very next day!
Anyway we covered A LOT of water and were able to at least get few for the ladies !
We ended up with my niece's first hybrid, two largemouth and one smallmouth for the day.
Was a beautiful day to be on the water no matter what! We laughed and rocked out to some good tunes and even caught a fish or five for the day!
Hopefully I converted another young person into the outdoors and fishing!!!

Nice trip...better than I made out last Sunday. Seems like whenever I go there on Sundays the fish go on vacation lol..think they get beat up pretty bad from Friday night on and by Sunday they have concussions from all the traffic now.

Sweet! Love seeing you pass on the tradition bud. Watch out or they'll start out fishing you soon, I know Kelly caught more pike than me when we fished together last year!

This statement is correct......but Sundays have always been that way IMO. The boat traffic has increased.... no doubt. I used to have a job that where I could fish weekdays and there's no doubt that Weds, Thurs, and Friday were great days to be up there. The numbers of fish I'm seeing are as good as they have ever been but on Sundays its definitely tougher to get bit. It seems like you get an hour maybe two of good action then it slows down.

I'm primarily fishing Sundays and I think you are correct in that they are getting pounded Friday and Saturday. Someday I'm gonna win the lottery and fish during the week. lol

Weekdays so much better anywhere. Last Friday got up at 5, drove to PA, fished for 90 min, caught 2 bass and 5 pickerel. Went to work for 8 hrs, fished the PR after work for an hr getting 4 perch,6 bass, and 2 pike. Its worth it to try. Beautiful weekends r great for most things but generally terrible for us fisherman. Give me clouds and rain!

Thanks everyone Always want people I take out on the boat to catch some fish especially for the first time out.
Trolling can be a little tough for some people to do but it is a very productive way to catch fish and once we start catching and rods are bending and all hell brakes loose EVERYBODY starts having a good time real quick. The girls were very patient and it paid off for them with a few fish to make the day!!!!

The new ride is FANtastic!!!!!!! It's so much more spacious then the old boat. Nobody recognizes me though cause the new boat is burgundy instead of the old blue one!!! LOL That extra two foot makes a huge difference!! I absolutely love it and anyone who been on it fishing feels the same it's nice to be able to fish with three people no problem at all and everything is stored away so the deck is clear to boot!!!:D:D:D:D:D

Amen to that brother! I love that boat. We put so many fish in it this spring and early summer. A blessing from the waters above!

Good stuff gettin the girls out too. I remember my first brid like it was yesterday...:D
