Pickeral party 3/23
 

Hit the river for a few hours this morning looking to get my line tight. Casted BIG PLUGS and swim baits for a while and managed to pick 3 descent SLIME DARTS. Biggest one went around 22 inches, the other 2 went around 20 inches. Not bad for a couple hours of casting, I got my fix. Washed my hands off in the river after every catch, man is that water still cold. SHEESH!!!! Next week looks good weather wise, but I'm not down with the NEW MOON coming in.

Any geniuses out there know how to upload pics onto this thread using an IPhone? I uploaded my pics to my photobucket account but can't figure out how to copy and paste them here. I tried, I don't get it!!!:confused:

Way to go buddy. You did better than me for sure. Nicely Done.

I hit up the Raritan a little further upstream with the wife for a couple hours on SAT but we got nothin'. Really nice day, great spot, but just didn't pan out. Threw a bunch of stuff from 1/32 oz marabough jigs to 7 inch jerkbaits and everything in between.

Also saw Chris the C.O. and spoke with him for a bit. Great kid and really into the job for sure. Said he will be out in alot of the "famous" places this year. He also encourged us all to CALL IF WE SEE SOMETHING. Said he relaly relies on anglers to help out as he can't be everywhere. Actually mentioned a few guys on this board by name so he knows us and apprecaites any help he can get.

Where you at G? Lber out there buddy. Try the Raritan or the Delaware. There's fish to be caught, your going to snap soon if you don't be out. Don't let the man keep you down. DAMN THE MAN!!!

More like work, and the wife. :p

Been out a few times in the last month or two. Just checkin some local river spots. Had one pike hit a spinnerbait a couple weeks ago but couldn't hook up. Draggin it in sloooow, thought I snagged up the bottom only to look down and see a pike had followed right to the bank!!!!! Think he hit the blades and not the bait cause I tried to set the hook and all I got back was a bent up spinnerbait, lol. Good size fish too. I'll be back for him soon, I hope......:(
