C'mon man, you can't post something like that and leave us wondering. Waiting on bad news isn't very exhilarating!

50,000 trout to be stocked in the Raritan! Just kidding! This doesn't sound good that's for sure.

Milton Lake in Union Cty is stocked already. 2014 signs are up too!

Could it be no more browns and brookies to be raised at the Pequest?

Browns and brookies were the strains most effected by this disease..

Once they contain and fix the issue up at Pequest - reproduction will start.

Also you probably wont see a stocked fish over 18 inches this yr.

Is this the "minor blow" you alluded to?

Thanks for the updates, too... Very much appreciated.

No not the minor blow I was talking about.. I will make the necessary inquiries on what I heard on Sunday and see if it was validated.

Ok - so my update was correct from last week

Now.. those fish from what I was told were the fish that were suppose to hit the Hackie / Passaic Raritan and such.. so thats why I called it a minor blow..

Those rivers are too big and vast not to mention pike bait....

I know that stocking began around the 17th but the season doesnt open until April 5th but what keeps the bucket brigade from poaching? Pretty much nothing right?
