FISHERMEN/Excellent Bassin today Wednesday!!
 

Very good jig fishing today right from the start!! Bird life for miles in several area's. Had a few new comers today, some that have never caught a keeper that ended up with their limits on fish up to 22 pounds.
Scott, Rob and Eddie took command of the bow kicking butt all day.

As for yesterday, I saw a post bashing me on another sight for not sailing yesterday. First off the comment that the Captain and crew were no where to be found is total BS!! I told several people that called the night before we would be shaping up. As of 7:15 am we had 7 customers on the boat, it started to snow, the wind was blowing 30 and the bay was nothing but white water. One of the Charter Captains had called to tell me he had turned around. We shut down the trip.........I don't wake up everyday at 4 AM to play freaking games and many times we are the only boat out there (Fishing in the Snot).

I would NEVER just not show up after posting that we were fishing!! Obviously at 7:15 this person was not on the boat in the first place.

Yet all the internet yahoo's who think they know the facts have to flex their muscle's with stupid comments.

Capt Ron and crew are good peeps and great fisherman I'm sure they were all in agreement on the final result and it was the right thing to do for all involved. As they say it's impossible to keep all the people happy all the time but it's simple to piss so some of the people off all the time!!! Just keep up the good work Capt and crew!!!

The guy that posted about driving down to atlantic highlands & finding the boat dark, is a very well-respected, competent fisherman. He even owns a small (jigging) tackle shop. I don't think he would be the guy "puking" in galley. He fishes hard, very frequently up & down the coast. More likely he would be the guy out fishing most others on the boat. No need to bash the guy, all he did was post about his excitement to head down & get in on the hot bass bite & his disappointment when he found no one around. I am sure most would feel the same way.

No need to bash the guy? After posting what he did about me and my operation, that's O.K.? When he called me yesterday afternoon-he wouldn't even admit that he was the poster on the other sight but still was looking for a discount or a coupon or something..........Maybe he should have called me first to find out what really went on before bashing me on the internet.

I'll be the first one to say I have a lot of respect for both of you, and hope this works itself out. I have fished on your boat countless times, and have been up to his shop to pick up lures and advice for Cape Cod bluefin. It sounds like he still wants to come down and fish with you. Maybe his way of showing you his respect or olive branch or something, not sure.:o

WELL RESPECTED:eek: :eek: HE IS ALSO THE GUY WHO SOLD ME A $250.00 ROD, SAID IT WILL JIGG 60 POUND TUNA AND IT BROKE LIFITING A SHORT FLUKE IN THE BOAT, AND HE TOLD ME TO TAKE IT TO A TACKEL SHOP AND PUT A TIP ON IT,WELL SINCE IT WENT FROM 7 FOOT TO 5 FOOT WHAT TIP, TRY HONOR THE WARRENTY:confused: (i still have it if you would like to see it)and that was the quick version.
