Breeder "WALLEYE" Alert!!! 3/7

Nor’easter Walleye!!! Possibly the fattest Walleye I’ve ever caught!!! Fish measured 27 inches on the nose. This is not the longest I’ve caught but “DAMN” talk about fat! This thing might have a schoolie Striper in its stomach, LOL!!! My hands were shaking when I got her to the rocks! I just couldn’t believe the girth on this fish! I’m still in awe! Adrenaline is still pumping heavy! I’m stoked!!! Fish hit a finesse minnow in chartreuse on a 3/16 ounce Moon eye jighead! I’m gona stir the pot by saying this fish is all of 10 lbs easy! No, I didn’t weigh her but check out the picture of her next to my size 11 Timberland boots. If it’s not 10 lbs than it’s damn close!!! Whoooooooo hoooooooo!!! What a way to start off a snow day!!! You never know what your gona catch on the big rivers of NJ!!!

Nice fish buddy. You might be surprised what you find inside. One Vova landed through ice at Hopatcong had baby catfish inside.

Dan....if you look just below the walleye's tail in the first pic or just to the left of Eddie's knee in the second (right if your Eddie) you'll find the answer to your first question. But knowing what FE used doesn't help any of us mere mortals because he uses the force when he fishes. He doesn't locate the fish, the fish find him. No matter where he fishes, fish school around him begging to be hooked. I think he once caught a 10 lb fluke at the Water Gap, he is in fact the most interesting fisherman in the world.......stay thirsty my friends!

Eddie great catch! Guys like you who put in an incredible amount of time and effort deserve being rewarded with trophies like this big girl, no luck involved here. Great way to start the year, you set the bar high. How old would anyone guess an eye that size is? Congrats on a trophy catch!

I'd say 22 years old, which I borrowed from my favorite chart (but the average weight listed of course doesn't account for the huge girth and egg-filled gut on this girl)

Crazy, awesome catch dude

Nice walleye, Eddie!

The Lower Raritan River has plenty of fish. No stocking required.
