Have you ever met that guy who engages you in a fishing conversation and then proceeds to talk OVER you when he asks YOU a question? I met quite a few at launches and bait stores. I always walk away with douche chills and wonder what it's like to have to live with that person.

Last weekend I was at my local bait shop and had to listen to a guy tell me how he catches the most hybrids from SR and that everybody else that says they catch is lying about how many. This was after he stepped in front of me as I was paying. He told me he'd been fishing for hybrids since the early 90's and I said me too. He told me how people who troll are ruining the fishing because they cause the fish to move too much:rolleyes:. I learned all kinds of bullship from this guy and I wanted to call him out soooooo bad but didn't.

I don't know how bait ship guys can listen to these guys all day! I couldn't do it.

I have a high tolerance for guys who I know are full of it.......this guy though, he takes the cake for greatest douche bag of all. Sorry had to get it out......tried to vent to my wife and she just laughed at me. Am I turning into a grumpy old man at 38 years old? Lol that's what my wife called me.

LOLOLOLOLOL!!! I'm 38 as well but would've reacted differently because I'm just me. Confrontation is fun at the bait shop. I would've stuck a potato or 2 bananas in his tailpipe. Or.............pissed in his boats gas tank. If he didnt show you any pics than tell him to go SHIT in his HAT!!! Funny story! I like it!

Every once in a while I meet someone who is so ****ing stupid, -not only do they not know they're stupid, but they actually think they're smart because they can't conceive how how little they're actually aware of.

I don't meet many new people fishing now that I rarely fish from shore, but it still happens on occasion.

It's not just at the fishing holes, these people are everywhere! And they can be infuriating. Best to just let them go on their merry way since there is ABSOLUTELY no reasoning with them.

...Although the pissing in the gas tank thing sounds like fun. :D

Lol eddie......I just turned 38 on the 24th.......I'm pretty sure. There was a time when I would have had some fun with him but really I can't be bothered anymore.

I hear ya Lard...... I just said reallllllly? To everything he said.:D to make him feel like he was telling me things that sounded unreal to me.

Funny thing is that I have fished around him many times and have never seen him really get into them good. Must be because I was trolling around him and moving the fish away from his boat. ;)

I hear the same BS often at the same bait shop bro, dont sweat it. Ive had a few ppl come up to me and say hey ur jimmythegreek right? and then tell me how theyre killin the fish yet I dont see them hooked up and often behind me as im hooked up.......or the best is when they ask u at the ramp and I always say I did OK and got a few whether I did just that or killed em, then they tell me how they had 26"ers and 10 pounders and all that good stuff. Its funny how he told u the trollers move the fish around, Ive been banging them in 2 spots all summer long and often literally right on top of the same waypoints no less. Im gonna hit 40 in October and Im grumpy already, its not u its life man...
