Gloomy day Lakers, Saturday 2/24
Haven't been on this res on a boat in quite a few years. I was stoked to be out there on Cap'n Mikeys Black Mamba. The weather started off great but then the on and off rain got annoying. It wasn't fast and furious fishing but we did manage to pick away at enough fish to fill the smoker. Even got a few good ones on the jig! Jigging the deepwater dwellers up brings back some awesome memories for me as I used to spend alot of time on the res. in my childhood years and into my 20's! Cap'n Mikey, Redi on his boat and myself, grinded and grinded to put nice catch together!!! We had a bunch of Bows up to 16 inches and the biggest Lakers measured 24 inches!!!Good times had by all fellas!!! :D
