don't worry about driving all the way back to Passaic County in bad weather, Kenny will let you sleep in the cabin! And you can always eat any leftover shrimp. OR walk over to Spikes.........I hear they have fresh blackfish for only $16.99/# ha ha ha. and you don't hafta worry about Mrs Shrimp........she can handle things at home for a day without you; it's not like you don't leave that poor woman alone enough (montauk, cape may et al).

ps ??? can you write off the fare(s) for a fishing trip if you let someone else eat some of your shrimp???? That's a business lunch, right???

oh by the way, can you ask for a nice warm day- i don't like the cold. and which is better for blackfishing- the bow or stern? and what size hooks should i buy? is it okay to use 2 (4oz) sinkers if i don't have any 8's? should i bring extra socks? will the mates bait the hook for us? should i bring a lunch? i have a few mackeral jigs, should i bring them in case we get lucky?

mike (LAB)- i took your advice a got a bunch of eagle claw trout hook. will one pack of 6 be enough? i bought size "8"; i figured the smaller hooks will be easier for the fish to get in there mouths.;)

I saw a big roll of duct tape at the hardware store that would be purrfect for wrapping 2 x 2oz sinkers (or dinkers) together; want I should pick up a roll 4 you? We'll be far past this moon...........can you believe the current out there? Baby Al fished in Cape May today and hadda use 20oz

I'm looking forward to this trip too. A couple peepz I haven't fished with in years. I wouldn't mind if it warmed up to 20 though, teens is cold; period!

mike, if you think the tape will work, yes. also, do you think you can get it in different colors- you never know what might attract the fish. i think i'll bring some markers with me as well so i can do some last minute coloring. i just found a stash of 1 oncers, is it alright if i just clump them in a ball with the duct tape?

the shrimp for some odd reason usually do NOT bring in the doggies. I have seen more dogs on crabs than shrimp.

however sinkers bouncing away like basketballs will only send the toggies my way:)

I thought you collected money for the whiteleggers on the PUOSU trip. If you didn't collect enough and need more just let me know! I appreiciate you picking them up, and don't expect you to pay for them. If you want a few more bucks for the last trip I have no problem, just let me know and i'll take care of it next week.

Im with steve, if you were short on the crabs last trip let us know how much and I will gladly contribute. I dont think you should get stuck for anything considering you set the trip up and picked up the crabs.
