Look up these words
Metaphor-analogy.
Sometimes people use these tools to make a point.. If you can't see the difference between these and proselytizing, I don't know what to tell you .. From you yes indeed I would expect the
"if you aren't breaking the law" shtick... Totally irrelevant ..

It is blatantly unconstitutional and illegal for law enforcement to surveil the innocent to find the guilty.. Yet thats what you and others are advocating.,no other way around it. Enjoy getting stopped regularly in your perfectly safe, legal, well maintained and compliant boat just because others night be drunk, unsafe, non compliant? Fine, but it IS against your constitutional rights.. Yet you embrace it.. Not me,,,,

Hey Bob...you are more than welcome to let the fish and game warden know, if they ask you "May they check your catch?" that they are not allowed on your vessel or to infringe upon your rights. Thats your choice...

I would like to watch the results of that interaction on youtube during and afterwards so please record if this happens.

I agree.. You just made my point... The constitution IS disregarded by the states, as well as the feds.. Thanks for the example!..
I get checked a lot, never hostile, always respectful.
No problem with getting license checked etc, but it is ever increasing, ever expanding... cops now sit in cars with binocs looking for seat belt infractions... Glad you guys are ok with all this.. i personally am not.... bob

I didnt prove any point. I just want to sit there and laugh when you get arrested yelling about your rights...lol. You can debate all you want from the back of a patrol vehicle. Ive seen that in a couple movies....hahahah.

Police aren't infringing on your or my rights if they are looking for idiots texting on their phones while driving. Right?
I have no complaints about having a game warden asking how I did on any day of the week and taking a look at my catch. I have been boarded and have a very recognizable boat as you can see. I get a wave every time they motor by and am friendly with them if boarded. They are looking out for our interests in making sure those who break laws by concealing an illegal or undersize catch are held to account. It's not us capitulating to the government to allow them to do their jobs and take a quick look.

fine, continue to enjoy the safety and security provided by our "public servants" that are authorized to pick through the innocents to find the guilty... I simply disagree with that mindset.. bob

Hi to all. I kind of agree with you Bob. We were checked on the water by fish and game and then when we got into the dock we were checked again by fish and game kind of overkill but I do understand they have a job to do. Just remember this they cannot ask you if you’re an illegal immigrant or your gender.

Probably not a good idea dipping my toe in this one but here goes. Like it or not, we live in a world of rules and regulations. With rules comes oversight and with oversight comes enforcement. Without enforcement, we'd have absolute anarchy, especially with the management of public resources. If I'm "inconvenienced" from time to time to protect that privilege, I'm all for it. I believe, because I choose to believe, most people associated with F&G and other agencies do it for the love of the outdoors, not for any other reason. If that means being checked from time to time, I'm glad to see it happening because I know the resources they protect stand a better chance of being around for my children and their children with their efforts more than without.

To Bob's point, does that mean I don't have concerns with government intervention and basic rights of privacy, of course I do. But in this case I very much appreciate the efforts of F&G, CO's and all the people who are understaffed with enormous territories to patrol who try their best to protect the recreational activity we all love and enjoy.

Truthfully I think I was checked more in the 70's and 80's than I've been in the last 30 years! Personally I'm glad they're out there on our behalf and my hats off for their efforts.
