Beautiful fish Ken.

Looks like you crossing out one species after another from that bucket list.

Great to see you up and about on water.

Andre

1- "10 LBS"- How do you weigh musky? I hope you don't weight them, that can kill them.

2- Do you drag these fish back to the ramp for a picture? Seems like most of your pics are from the ramp with the reeds to on your left and gravel ground.

3- Consistently fishing musky from a kayak. one of these days you may hook a Big musky and find yourself unprepared without a big enough net, and wrangling it in on a kayak, and you may kill the fish. kayaks are not meant for consistently fishing for musky.

Anyway, nice fish, just asking these questions to make sure you and others are practicing safe catch and release procedures so these fish survive. ;)

That's awesome Ken. That fish must have taken you for a ride.

I kayak with waders, too. I just don't want to shell out the money for a dry suit right now. I assume if you wear a belt around your waders and cinch down your PFD, you'll remain buoyant enough to swim with your kayak back to shore. I've never actually tried swimming in waders, though.

Well now then there......... Ahhhhhhhhh.......... yes yes....... I figured one of you "politically-correct" (uhhhhhhhhhh............ never mind) would have to show up here sooner or later.

So let`s break down your questions a bit buddy-boy shall we??......

1.) "10 LBS"- How do you weigh musky? I hope you don't weight them, that can kill them" Ken: With a scale.....how else do ya weigh a fish???

2.) "Do you drag these fish back to the ramp for a picture? Seems like most of your pics are from the ramp with the reeds to on your left and gravel ground" Ken: Well hell yea...Of course I do. In my net. Never had any fish die on me yet..... well........ other then the ones that met my Knife that is.

3.) "Consistently fishing musky from a kayak. one of these days you may hook a Big musky and find yourself unprepared without a big enough net, and wrangling it in on a kayak, and you may kill the fish. kayaks are not meant for consistently fishing for musky" Ken: Strange...... I didn`t see any WARNING! THIS KAYAK IS NOT MADE FOR MUSKY FISHING!!! THIS MEANS YOU KEN BEAM!!!!..... You: "One of these days you may hook a Big musky and find yourself unprepared without a big enough net, and wrangling it in on a kayak, and you may kill the fish" -- Ken: I`ll keep that in mind friend..... but since picking up a boat trailer is no longer an option, because of my situation, the `Yak is my only option.

4.) "just asking these questions to make sure you and others are practicing safe catch and release procedures so these fish survive" Ken: Are you like the NJ Musky Police????????????????..........

*** Now........ let`s get a few things straight my politically-correct-fishing-friend,.........

#1 - ANY man or woman can do whatever they want to do with any god damn fish they catch!.....period.It`s none of your business at all. If they want to practice Catch-n-Release then so be it...... On the other hand, if they want to practice Catch-n-Eat well hell, that`s their business as well, and their right to do so........Mind your own business.

#2 - For what it`s worth, (Though I don`t need to justify anything to you)ALL of the Pike & Muskies I catch go back in the "pond" and swim away just fine.......

#3 - So spare me your lessons & idles threats friend......... At 53 I don`t need or take anyone`s bullshit.........at all.

Edit u can't see it on the post, but look at his 4 posts. 3 of them are chastising members for their habits.

Well if anyone new to musky sees this they really should understand the task at hand from a kayak and know the equipment they should have, I will say that.
