Oddly enough I don't see this on the Passaic. Only bags of fruit/veggies with a bird carcass in the mix! It's definitely been a problem on the Hackensack River and also Overpeck Creek though!! I almost kicked some ******* off a bridge last week for tossing a can in my dirty river...what do you say to ppl who do this crap and not have to think if it will get physical or not!?!

Take it back to the banks of the Raritan & crawl inside to observe the polluters.

Occaisionally say, in an ominous voice: "This is Gansehamerica, do not leave

replicas of me, or any other offerings, in or on the banks of this, or any other

water ways of this country. Failure to abide by this edict, will result in bad luck

obviously this is a cultural thing...when you come from a place where this is acceptable...Hopefully with outreach and education will put an end to it...
