Re: Castable Floro?

I used 2 lb PLine flurocarbon line to catch 41 fish this year while ultralight jigging with 1/32 oz lures. When I jigged up and down, my line got twisted too much but Reel Magic prevented the twists. I didn't have any problems casting the line.

i don't cast with anything but braid, and i just put leaders of whatever i need. Nothing casts better than braid and gives you more sensitivity and hook setting ability at range. I can't think of any situation that i wouldn't use braid as a main line. if i'm worried about visibility i put a huge clear leader on it.

Re: Castable Floro?

Thanks for the input. I have been using SUFFIX 832 braid (love that stuff)for the mainline to small swivel to connect to floro drop line to VMC SPIN SHOT & floro or mono tag end to weight. It works well but braid can really dig into timber especially when @ SKUNKSVILLE. Would prefer a fluoro for bottom fishing as it sinks better & allows for a better presentation. Braid is great in weeds though.

I will go grab some of the P-LINE FLORO COATED MONO & give it a shot. I always use REAL MAGIC on all lines...maybe the best thing to have in tackle box besides a lot of patience!
