I've been there a few times for bait. Nice owner. I hope they make it because there is little else up there. There is the hunting and fishing shop a few miles north on 23 that seems to do OK. Sadly, the local bait and tackle stores are losing to Cabelas and BPS. I'm as guilty as hell of contributing to that and I've lately made an effort to try to buy local. We all need to do that, lest we'll have a great selection of lures online, but no place to buy bait. |
