Re: Voyager Yesterday

Great report. What size bucktails were you using? Also, were you fishing off the front of the boat for spot or right off the dock? I have done this trip 4 times over the past month and a half. Great boat and great mates. I have always done well! Plan on going out again on Saturday if the weather cooperates.

I think i will commandeer that bow for philly bright and early on sunday! those 6 inch mullets are to big for sea robins all you do is get those flat things

Thanks! For the spot, were you using a sabiki rig or small hook with some bait?

What bait were you using for the spot? Clams, worms squid? Looks like good weather this weekend for both Saturday and Sunday. Should be a good day out for all of us.

they eat bloodworms like you and I would attack a Lobster Buffet but when those lil guys are thick they will take anything so I'd save your $ and just ask the mates for some clam and cut it into lil tiny pieces smaller then you would for a porgy. size 6 hooks, small kingifsh or porgy rig or a sabiki should do the trick. they are also really yummy scaled and pan fried with just the guts and head taken off.
