Re: sunglasses

Maui Jims. I own five pairs. Two brown (rose) lenses for day driving, partly cloudy days and rainy days. One black pair of lenses for real sunny days. Especially on the water, ice or snow. One pair with 200 magnification on the bottom of the lense so I can see better when I tie knots. And finally a pair of titanium frames that are super light and you can twist them in a ball without breakage. Great glasses. All of them. And whichever type you use that day you can see very far into the water. Great for spotting trout in the rivers and streams. Plus the service they give customers is outstanding. Any problem I had was solved quickly and efficiently. Fast service too.
I keep them around my neck with 20lb. Power Pro. or floating croakers. I NEVER take them off until I'm at home. I hang them in the same place all the time.

well I've managed to lose my polarized glasses (at home no less) and I'm looking at getting a pair with the bifocal for tying knots. anyone else have experience with them? Also heard brown tint is best.

Mauis I've worn for years, I have a minimum of 5 pairs.
The brown is best for low light conditions, while I prefer mirror or dark gray lenses offshore were sun really beats down !
These are expensive so good lanyards are a must!

Costa by far! Just got another pair. Cabalitos with 580 lenses. Crystal frame with mirrored impacted lenses. Eyes on First in AH has the largest selection.
