haha thanks guys, Tom, it was pretty much just a floating rope that came to a few inches below the surface, the buoy was pretty much gone. who ever it belongs to has no consideration for other boaters. typical sailboater if you ask me!

Haha, great story and nice muskie! Excellent rescue!! Although I think that beast woulda chewed through what ever it was tangled in if you couldn't get to it. :D

well done you guys.. that is a nice ski for sure and the fact you really had to earn that one with all of your efforts to free that fish.. NICE. that is a memory for life right there:cool:

honestly though, it pretty quickly got to the point where i would've been happy even if it broke off on his end. I knew if i broke off on my end it wouldn't get out cause we gave it slack a bunch of times and it couldn't get it's face off the rope.
