Tuesday, we ended up fishing offshore along the edge of the mud hole where we were catching the blues really good over the weekend. With the bad weather, the fish wouldn’t cooperate. There were good readings but we only managed to catch a fish or two a drift.
Wednesday, we ran east along the edge of the mud hole. We read plenty of fish and at times, they were 30’ – 40’ thick under the boat and we caught fish on all drifts. We picked a few, with occasionally a couple on at a time. Overall, we saw plenty of fish but we did not catch what we saw. The weather is looking great for the rest of the week and weekend so now is the time to come. I will post today’s report later when we get in.
