Weather was looking a little iffy first thing Sunday morning with stiff NE so me, Joe, Tim and Rob waited it out and left the dock around 12:00. A little snotty on our way down to the grounds with a 3 or 4 foot swell but not too bad.....The wind did drop out as forecasted so nice and comfortable on the grounds other then an occasional swell.
Got set up, made a few wiggles and started building some life, unfortunately we had several HUGE doggies mixed in that were the size of my leg...
Rigs and Jigs both worked and the bite was kinda scratchy. Nothing big and just enough action to keep you interested along with some Jumbo Sea Bass.
A great day on the water with nice running conditions for the ride home.
Hard to beat a day like that for early October.
