MUSHIN - 9/16-17 - Boxes Filled with Tuna

MUSHIN was out for an overnighter on 9/16-17. Our first afternoon included a pick of Longfin on the troll, but boats that were there earlier took advantage of a mid-morning bite and boxed up nice catches on the troll. The overnight was a little slow except for a couple of blue sharks and tons of giant squid. The next morning was back on the troll, finding consistent and solid action on nice longfin to 45-50#. Multiple bites were common, arms were sore (we only had 4 anglers on the boat) and both Henriques fish boxes were soon filled to the top. Purple/black plastics still doing the job on the troll.
