Caught Cod over the weekend while wreck fishing. Great fight and it was amazing at the dinner table.

Ive always wanted to specifically target them but havent done the research to do so consistently yet.

Can you, and do some people still target them successfully on a regular basis anymore?

A few folks do. Top secret spots! They are doing better then they used to.

Jersey cod fishing sucks. You'll go 10 more times now and never see one. Most trips out of jersey are glorified ling trips.300 ling and 2 cod for 30 guys.

Check out the Last Lady. He had a cod specific trip coming up in the next week or so.
It sells out for a reason.
Yes it's true, you catch a lot of ling as well but since they are all over 14 inches whos complaining.

I appreciate that
I was more entertained by the fact that there is a Kleenex study on crying.

Back to your point....I know there are people who consistently catch them. Just need to learn where and what they do. Im all for a challenge.

But moreover, I am out there for therapy. Not to feed my family or make money (But God bless those that do!). Ive never been upset because I burned fuel or spent time on the water w poor results on the day. Thats what Shore Fresh and Spikes Fish Market are for. :D
