Fishing between hurricanes and 3 months of consecutive travel for the job that pays the bills we departed Friday am for a crew trip, our first with the new 35 Cabo since trading in the reliable 29 Topaz.
Started fishing by noon with only 1 lft to show by evening, trolled into the dark then chunked and watched movies as the chunk bite was nonexistent. Up on the troll by 5am, picked another lft, and handed the wheel over to relief skipper Captain Kenny, despite a 5th trip across the deep to the other side we were able to connect with a 4 banger of lft landing all of them. Overall went 6 for 6, not great but not bad for the first trip and beats sitting on a 737 twice a week.
We are hosting both open boat and offshore Canyon charter trips from now until bass season, call to reserve.
