Where the heck are the tuna? Fished the edge on non sponsor PB, came in yesterday with 1 fish. That was their second trip in a row with 1 fish. There were about 20 other boats out there with us on the line and practically no one caught a thing. Tons of large squid - decent pod of Pilot whales and that was it. Did not see a single baitfish, mahi, nada, zip, zilch, zero. The mates were awesome but feel like our boat should have made an earlier move instead of trying the scallop boats inshore for 30 minutes on the way home. For those with smaller boats, the water at the 30 fathom line was nice and clean.

We were out there the same night
Your captains were in the right spot
There are fish there, they just aren't
Biting on the chunks yet for some unknown
Reason. The inshore scallop thing is a crap
Shoot at best, and u only hear about the
Occasional guy that catches.
I know the boat and captains very well
I would put my boat and folks in a spot
Where I know there are fish, that's
Exactly what he did
Hopefully things change after the blow
I realize it doesn't help your trip

Thanks for your feedback capt! My only concern is that not a single fish was marked all night...so wondering if they were in fact there. Don't get me wrong, I know I was fishing with a top notch PB operation.

I hear you---been there but sometimes 2-3 guys got hooked up at once with nothing on the scope---they're hanging in the slick 100'- 450' out and unless the boat has side scan you'll never see them...have had it happen more than once---of course sometimes they just aren't there...fishing not catching!!! The way it should be in my opinion....

Agreed I have spent thousands of hours and tens
of thousands of dollars chasing tuna. Just like
hunting I don't have to kill something to have
A good day out. If I wanted the dollar value
of fish I would go to the store and but it
