Hands down our best day was our last day, damn shame the season is over early. We hammered the shallows and 10' channel with light gear and half ounce jigs and just hammered fluke all morning long. No trash fish, aggressive hard fighting fish in the shallows bending our light rods in half, awesome.
We had our two man boat limit of keepers by 9am and I had landed 10 keepers by the end of it. We had 12 keepers total releasing 6 nice 18-19 thick fish looking for that real doormat (that unfortunately never showed up) biggest for the day was 22".
