Chomping at the bit now and ready to get out there.

Looks like dates are filling up quick.
Most of the 36 hour trips are full 2nd 48 hour trip has been sold out.

Some spots still open for the first 48 the end of the month.
If you haven't done a 48hr trip don't wait any longer.

Recent reports look good with good sized yellows and the first signs of the Long Birds showing up.
More reports will start to come in as the party boat fleet starts hitting the edge in the coming days and weeks and we get into the prime fall season.

Don't just read the reports, book now and post your own!

I think we're all chomping at the bit---have been since getting off the boat last November...Charlie, I'm surprised you haven't bitten through the bit by now...be great to fish with you again, we all missed you last year...

It looks like most are waiting for the first 24 to go to see when to book but maybe the schedule will say full, full, full straight down through Nov. by then!!!

The old Gambler always started the first Tuesday after Labor Day and boy did we have some truly "epic" catch trips...(before the 3 YFT limit)...Muldune can tell you...we had some tired arms....

Don't wait and be left to read the report, make it!!!

You fellas should venture north to cape cod. Such a great fishery. All big fish and you fish anywhere from a mile to 20....only on a boat 8 hrs per trip

Still a few days away but I have been watching the long term forecasts and they have softened some over the last 2 days.
Definitely will be a ground swell from Maria but the winds don't look high till Friday.

All can change right up to time to go as we all know so I don't like to try to predict a go or no go.
Capt Bob will make the right call when the time comes.

None the less I'm ready to go!

Trips are great to look forward to, but I love the steady reports of tuna fish ( not mahi) caught by the dozens on party boats. Maybe it'll break through soon.

I have mine in late October to Hudson.
