New Jumbo PB Fluke with JiggingWorld 14lb!*

Recently I was able to help Jigging World host a 2 day fluke trip northerly to the land of the giants! We were greeted with smooth seas and calm winds both days! As names were called and everyone started piling on board, something told me this was going to be a great trip! And O what a trip it was! Day one, 2nd drift, my good buddy next to me nails his PB with a 11.5lb right out of the gate! This held the day's pool money for most of the day until yours truly hooked a rod bender! As I set the hook I immediately knew the fish had some weight, and at first I thought it was the pool winning dog fish! Then the head shaking began and it was game on! I knew I had a lot of line out and it was going to be awhile before we saw it! Then finally top shot appeared and up what looked like the ocean floor came to the surface! With one quick gaff shot, over rail came my first DD fluke! Capt weighted it and it came out to be 14lbs right on the button!

I did another trip on a private charter up there and it was lock and load most of the trip although no big doormats came up. Can't wait for next year already!
