Saturday morning, fishing was fair. We had to make a couple of moves and ended up picking at mackerel all day.
Saturday night, we fished a few different areas. It was tough fishing since we had a really fast drift but we did manage to put together a nice catch of sea bass, mackerel and a keeper fluke.
Sunday morning, fishing was excellent! We fished east of shark river inlet with great results with mackerel and some sea bass.
Sunday night, we had excellent fishing north east of shark river inlet. We had a great mix of jumbo and short sea bass, as well as, some nice keeper and short fluke! Everyone caught fish tonight with many caching their limits. Things are shaping up nicely for the week ahead!
Today, we fished east of our inlet. It started off slow and we were able to pick at mackerel with shots. It died out midday and we ended up on shore fishing on some hills picking some mackerel and sea bass. Our pool winner was a blackfish.
