1st, congrats to Capt. Rob for sailing w/ only 6 fares. Fished SH bay and the Knoll. Light wind, very slow drift, and mostly slow fishing. Until the last drift, I had 2 short fluke & 1 small porgy (snagged). Then a 20" keeper on a 2oz bucktail tipped w/ Gulp. A small robin, then a 20-1/2", 3.17#, on the trailer hook w/ Gulp -- good enough to win the small pool (6 fares).
BTW, since the latter 1990's, I have been posting reports on the website "wmi.org". About a week ago, that site went down & is not coming back. It is out of business. Occasionally I would also post on NJfishing, or add a comment. From now on, I will post here.

Shame about WMI, but it's NJF's gain :)
I know Andy and Cliff will miss it !

I like the reports on WMI as well, and have followed them for many years.. Traffic has slowed there considerably however, and it was only a matter of time... bob

I posted reports on WMI from its inception in the 90's up until maybe 2005 or so. I stopped because the technology was out of date. Would love to go back and check out old reports. Those were the days of no spot burns!!

Yup, was sad to see WMI go. I also posted a report there after every trip I made since @1995. Also would print them out and store in a loose leaf binder. Every winter I'd re-read those reports. Would be like reliving the trip.
I had a feeling the site was on borrowed time as it seemed that only 3-5 people (myself included) would regularly post a report-at least in the NJ section.
