Kodiak Ak fishing !!!

Headed out to kodiak Ak last Thursday after spending over two months in Denali AK..
Fishing was great, Day one we limited out out on our halibut and played catch and realease.. Nothing really big, one was released believed to be over 150 lbs.. Mine was on the 60 lbs range.. We also got our limit on yellow eye, king salmon , rock fish and lingcod..

Day two, fished on a different boat, big shoutout to the captain what a great guy, after fishing he took us all to his house for food and drinks while he fillet and vacuum packed our catch.. Today we also limited out on halibut, lingcod and rock fish .. No yellow eye..
All together it was a great expirience.. Off the bucket list!! And yes I will be out here again next summer!!

16oz jigs all day.. Except for the Kings we trolled for those.
