This is great! can't go wrong with free hooks. But even better than the free hooks is that Fluke fishing is getting the attention of our government. Let's hope they make the regulations more fair for the recreational angler!

Detour66, it is great to see and that it is being recognized....if anyone I know is in area and can grab me a pack until I get back down next week, let me know. I want to participate.....Side note....they should have put these on the party boats to use....

this is nice thinking, but it makes more sense IMO to institute a slot limit, say 4 fish 15"-19" and 1 over 19 then we wont have to throw back 15 shorts to catch a keeper.

I like your thinking. That seems to be the best solution to the problem. Or maybe 4 at 15-18 ane one trophy fish over 21 would give some of the breeders a chance to live and repopulate. That and close down commercial fishing during breeding season...Charlie

Great idea. Wish I had some fluke to see if this thing works?

Gold too for sea robbins?

I've preferred long shank hooks for that same reason. Just get more line wasted when I snell them b/c of the longer shank.
