mad gaffer blackfish, fluke, Seabass sun . 7/23

We had a fantastic day today we went black fishing for a couple of hours, and we had a boat limit, of jumbo blackfish, and released at least three limits more four of which were over 10 pounds, Kurt Behrle 15 lb 1 oz , Debi Zema One fish was 14lb4 oz and the other was right on the 10 pound mark Josh Piotroowski had one, 12 lbs 5 oz all those big fish were weighed and released . Most of the fish that we kept were 3 to 5 pounds, along with all The keepers we released. Then we caught a limit of jumbo Sea bass One of which was over 4 pounds, a few triggerfish, and one big fluke . All in all an excellent day. We have open boat for these fish throughout the week , And next Saturday call for information and reservations

It has been brought to my attention that are speculations that we are keeping more than our limit of blackfish.. we stress the 1 fish limit and are fishing shallow water so the fish are all released safely and not blown up like deep water fish. Now is your time to come get your best shot at a DD blackfish as we are seeing multiple a trip. (All DD fish are released)So if you are coming down thinking you are going home with a boat load of blackfish this is not your place, we only spend a few hours fishing for them and then go get a nice catch of other bottom fish like sea bass, porgies, trigger fish,fluke. We fish a good long and hard day.
Have an open boat trip tomorrow Tuesday the 25th call for a spot

I fished with Ray numerous times including Saturday and he goes by the book. He also put the boat on a patch and was fortunate enough to land a dd personal best. I am looking forward to fishing with him again this Saturday. Sounds like there are some jelly peeps out there.
