Another good day with the porgies today for our open bottom trip.
It looks like more fish moved in but today was tougher because we had a wacky NW wind up against the light south tide.
Wound up drifting most of the morning and picking away and then finally put the hook in around noon and slammed them for another hour. Lots of doubles, and basically constant bites. It seems more and more fish are moving in on a daily basis which is good news!
Easily caught a boat limit but only kept fish over 11" and still boxed up over 300 + a few seabass and our first triggers of the season. Great day With a great crew!!
