Saturday and Sunday, July 15 and 16 we headed to Breezy Pt. for Porgies and had non-stop action on both days with many dinner plate size fish and an occasional fluke. Double headers were common with enough fish for friends and family caught early and catch and release by mid-morning. Reminiscent of this was a previous trip on July 3 to the Mud Buoy area for Sea Bass with an early limit and catch and release. Future trips we will try to combine Fluke and Porgies on our Breezy Pt. charters as Fluke fishing is picking up in this area. On Thursday, July 13 we chunked with bunker for Bluefish in the back bay and had rods bent all day but unfortunately with dogfish and only one bluefish.
