Mushin 7/9-10 - southern canyon tuna, tiles, mahi & makos

MUSHIN ran to the Southern Canyons on 7/8 for some variety of offshore fishing. The Sunday evening and Monday morning troll were a little slow, but we put 1 of 2 fat yellowfins and a couple of gaffer mahi in the boat. The overnight was difficult to get sleep...everytime Capt. Alan tried to sleep there was a call of "fish on". During the overnight between 11 pm and 4 am, we battled 4 makos, broke one off with a busted swivel, released two at boatside, and kept one for the table, and released a big dusky too. We stopped at a tilefish spot and quickly boxed up with nice sized goldens and bluelines.
