Down Deep Sportfishing

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA
The last few trips aboard the Down Deep have been challenging to say the least. Those who fish hard are minimally rewarded with a few beautiful keepers here and there. Gina with the double chartreuse set-up (pictured below), dropped a fish that would have been the largest caught anywhere this season as it came unbuttoned as Joe did everything short of going overboard to net her. Shorts make up little action as well. Seabass are still aggressive, in many numbers, so to fill on them is a joke. Dogfish deserve a knife in the skull before being returned as their stomach contents tell the tale. We continue to pound all areas and expect this week to show improvements all around. Back at it all week. Thanks everyone for sailing with us and all others who continue booking rough bottom Jumbo Ocean Fluke, Ling, Cod, winter Flounder & fall Jumbo Striped Bass, Tog & Seabass trips going forward at a rapid pace.
