Sunday afternoon, we fished to the east north east and had very tough conditions due to a strong south east wind which made drifting very tough and eventually forced us to anchor. We picked at a few keeper sea bass and a handful of ling. The wind let up at the end of the night and allowed us to make a drift where we picked up a few more keeper sea bass and some short fluke.
This morning, we had a decent day of fishing. We had fish on all drifts, some were better than others, and we were able to stay on long drifts at times. Most of the blues were 2-5 lbs with some 7-10 pounders mixed in. Our pool winner was Amanda Smith from Holland, PA.
