Saturday, we had excellent fishing for most of the morning and then had a little lull late morning. We then got a report in the afternoon and finished the day with good fishing. There were good readings with fish also on top. The blues ranged anywhere from 2-12 lbs with ava 27’s & 47’s working the best. Our pool winner was Carlos Zalazar from Paterson, NJ.
Saturday afternoon, we fished north east of our inlet and had very good action with short and keeper sea bass. Everyone caught fish, some didn’t catch keepers, but they were busy with all the shorts they could handle. In total, we ended up with around 65 keeper sea bass!
Sunday morning it was a tough start with a pick and some shots of fish through out the day. There was plenty of bait with readings, along with some fish on top, but they just didn’t want to cooperate.
Sunday afternoon we did not sail due to the weather.
Today, we had a few small blues off the beach south of our inlet in the bait. There were a few drifts where we picked with some shots. (I will post pictures from today and over the weekend tomorrow)
Sailing daily for blues & stripers from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and every weekend for fluke and sea bass from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
