Between BBQs, chores, and the weather managed to get out on Saturday for 2 sessions.
Afternoon Session
Fished Woodport and stayed close to the shoreline. The googans were out in full force. Had a donzi at WOT go between me and a pontoon boat full of small children. Less than 50 between the boats. Luckily for him I didn't have a rattle trap tied on. Gave him the double salute.
Had 2 Conservation Officers stop and check my license. http://www.njfishing.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif Talked with them a bit. Learned that they are spread crazy thin and have less than a handful of field guys in the Northern part of the state. They encouraged me to give them a call if i see anything.
Oh the fishing right right. Managed a nice 17" LMB on a chatterbait and two 15" LMB on a slugo plus a bonus daytime walleye on a jerkbait. Bass were up shallow cruising around.

Zombie Session
After a quick stop to grab dinner headed out to the grounds with my walleye challenged buddy Dave. Did the usual route and managed 4 eyeballs to 23". There was very little herring activity. Not sure if the boat traffic had an effect or it started after we left at 2am. The State Police were out yanking speeders all night long. Saw 4 boats get pulled over. :)
All fish released for others to enjoy!
