Saturday, we picked out some nice big blues north of our inlet mid morning in to the afternoon. It slowed down at the end of the day. We saw plenty of bird life at times, however, the fish stopped cooperating. Our pool winning blue was caught by Edward McDowell, Jr. from Paterson, NJ.
Saturday afternoon, everyone had a blast! There were a lot of nice sea bass caught, along with some ling, and there was plenty of action all around the boat.
Today, we had a few small blues in the morning. We then ran north and had a couple shots of blues up to 12 lbs. Once the tide changed, the fishing died out on us. The last half of the day was no good at all. Hopefully tomorrow it will be a much better day with less boat traffic.
Sailing daily for blues & stripers from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and for fluke and sea bass every weekend from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
