Is porgy here?

Went to look for porgy at my usual spot just south of the Verrazano bridge . No sign of porgy nor seabass. Got one keeper fluke. That's it.

Porgy is closed in Nj till July 1. If you sail from Nj You can't have the porys on Your boat even though Ny is open.

If your boat is trailerable LI Sound is loaded with BIG ones right now... The City island boats are killing them.. bob

I have heard of them on the NY side spots but you cannot come back to an NJ port with them. I saw a big pinfish on the Rightaway today so there must be some porgies off Jersey too as they hand together.
