So we took another one on the chin with Fluke and Seabass but lets NOT let them kick us off the water. Come September lets support the sponsers on this site and NJ Fishing industry who is taking the biggest hit with loss of fishing days / charters.
Yes Fluke and Seabass will be closed but book a trip anyway, go bluefishing like when you were a kid, go try something new, take an exploratory trip with one of our great captains, find new spots or hone your skills. We know the fish will be there its us fisherman they want to quit.
Don't let them take our fishing industry away. lets help these guys stay in business and keep their passion

I hope there is a bumper crop of Porgies and Blues this year for the capts to fish for this late summer/early fall... If we get a good showing of incidentals such as Croakers, Kingfish, Blowfish, Triggers, Chub Mackeral that might help a little to fill coolers, and create some enthusiasm..
These guys are getting strangled..bob

arrghh.. Yeah, read about that here several times and forgot all about it,, That really does suck, these guys aren't catching many breaks are they??... Still if they can get good size porgies on a daily basis, a few triggers, and maybe slip out further offshore for an hour of ling fishing, with a flounder here and there, they'll get enough guys to keep the doors open until tog opens... I think..
In any case, as we can plainly see, the party/ charter business is under all out assault from Big Brother..They don't even attempt to mask it with BS rhetoric any more..
1- "the regulations will HELP your business in the long run"
2- "we're on YOUR side"
3- "We have great RESPECT for rugged men that wrest a living from the sea"
Not a great time to try and run a for hire fishing operation.... bob
