Just like all other charities 90% goes towards admin costs and 10% goes towards the actual cause

And I know that 10% is even more then some of these so-called charities put toward the cause

I understand and share your frustration.
The organization I donate money to is the RFA.
Now more than ever, they need help. Money talks and the opponent (Environmental zealots on the MAMFC and ASMFC) are very well funded by organizations such as PEW and EDF.
I think we would of had a better outcome if the RFA had more money to throw around and buy politicians. Yes I said it, BUY politicians.
If the RFA were known as an organization that had a sizable war chest, politicians would be running towards the RFA. However, the simple fact of the matter is, they have less than 5,000 members and are operating on a shoestring operating budget. Politicians know that and the RFA is left chasing them.
This compromise was not masterminded by any fishing organization. The deal was struck by the NJ DEP to avoid being held out of compliance and the possibility of 2 fish @21" with a season of July and August.

So we are out of compliance with 3 at 19 and they make it 2 at 21. Just be out of compliance with that too.

Addendum 28 included a penalty clause, "default measure" that said if you fail to adopt one of the options, the default recreational harvest would be 2@21 with a July and August season.
The vote in VA on Thursday said NJ will be out of compliance and if our compromise (3@18) isn't accepted by the technical committee, the penalty is 3@19".

Tough rowing against the tide ! 5000 members , if they all gave $100.00 it would be half million , then someone from Pew would make a call and have one million the next day . I know we all love fishing , we have to keep fighting , I know we had some of our officials listening . As hard as it is , don't give up .

You can always donate money to Central Jersey Stream Team.
I also donate to the Hudson River Fishermen Organization, they do a lot with disabled children and veterans.
There are many environmental groups doing good things to protect our waters in which we fish.
NY/NJ Baykeeper is a good one.
