Had out a great crew of guys and gals today. First trip after the storm and it was a little bumpy in the am but not too bad. Set up and after a few minutes it was fish on! Chris, first time blackfisherman, broke the ice with one a little shy of 10lbs. Had solid action for about hour then it slowed to a pick. Had to grind em out for a while but had some decent fish mixed in, along with some 10's and a 12lber by Bob. Eventually got our limit and played c&r, which didnt last long because conditions went to absolute crap. went to reanchor a few times but the lines kept going slack and the boat kept facing a new direction every time. Decided to drift - or actually float for some cod. Lost a few really nice ones but by days end bob had 3 keeper cod.
Very nice pile of fish there Capt Ron

Another Great Trip on the Rockbottom. Capt. Ron put us on the fish from the get go and Ron Jr. did a tremendous job as mate. Good crew and plenty of action.

Very Nice work gents. I have found both Sr and Jr to be very dedicated polite and hardworking . Just what you want on any charter. And they CATCH!
Rock bottom is dialed in. No surprise.
